POPPY volunteers at Sainsbury’s Emersons Green collected nearly £16,500 for the Royal British Legion this year.
Members of the RBL women’s section were in the store daily from October 25 to November 11.
Store manager Richard Jones said: “The Emersons Green community has been so supportive in past. This year we commemorate the start of the First World War and our 20th year of partnership with The Royal British Legion. I’d like to thank our customers for their kind hearted commitment to the Poppy Appeal.”
