BOTTEGINOS in Emersons Green is celebrating raising £20,000 in four years to help Bristol Children’s Hospital.
The family-run Italian restaurant has raised the money for the hospital charity The Grand Appeal by donations from the sale of breadsticks and olives as well as from a charity golf day at the Kendleshire.
Botteginos’ supervisor Polly Evans said: “We’re thrilled to have raised £20,000 and know that our donations will help to make a difference to the lives of patients at Bristol Children’s Hospital.
“As a local, family friendly restaurant, we understand the importance of community and that’s why we wanted to help our local children’s hospital and The Grand Appeal, a charity whose values really reflect what the Bristol community is all about.”
Helen Haskell, Corporate Partnerships Manager at The Grand Appeal said: “Once again, the amazing team from Botteginos and its customers have outdone themselves! The £6,000 raised this year will be put towards transforming the lives of sick children and babies at Bristol Children’s Hospital and for that we will always be grateful. Thank you so much to everyone who made this possible.
The Grand Appeal funds state-of-the-art medical equipment, patient facilities, arts, music and play therapy and much-needed family accommodation at Bristol Children’s Hospital, helping to provide the very best care possible to critically-ill children and babies from across the South West of England, and further afield.
