CHLDREN at Barley Close Primary School returned from the Easter holidays and immediately embarked on a journey of adventure.
They were able to visit amazing sites around the world by taking part in Google Expeditions wearing virtual reality cardboard headsets,
The school’s IT team, Katy Cripps and Kayleigh Hyde, arranged for two class sets of Google cardboard headsets for the first day of Term 5.
They selected destinations from a range of 250 expeditions including the Great Barrier Reef and the Taj Mahal and guided the children through the 3D, 360 degree panoramic images, which were backed up by interesting text information.
Head teacher Jo Williams said: "It was a truly amazing day. The children were in awe with every place they explored.”
