A 14-YEAR-OLD boy who was walking his dog in Page Park was robbed of his mobile phone.
It happened at about 5.30pm on Thursday September 11. The boy saw a group of teenage boys and girls sitting in the middle of the cricket pitch.
One approached him, told him he had a knife and told him to give him his phone, a black Nokia Lumia in a see-through case.
The offender is described as light-skinned and black, around 17, of slim build and at least 6ft. He was wearing a black baseball cap with a gold-coloured sticker and black writing on the underside of the peak.
He was also wearing dark-coloured jogging bottoms, baggy and of thick material, and a thin cotton black tracksuit top with turquoise piping up the seams. The hood was worn up over the top of his cap.
Police ask anyone who saw what happened, or who was in the park at the time and has any information, to call 101 and speak to Serious and Major Crime at Concorde House, quoting crime reference number 94347/14.
