BRISTOL in the 1950s is the subject of the next meeting of Kingswood History Society.
Historian Mike Hooper will lead the talk on Tuesday June 6 at 7.30pm, in Room 4 at the Park Centre, Kingswood High Street (opposite Kingswood Civic Centre, BS15 9TR. Parking in Hollow Road).
The society meets on the first Tuesday of each month from March to December. Anyone interested in joining should visit the website www.kingswoodhistorysociety.org or pop along to a meeting.
Cost is £2.50 per visit including tea/coffee and biscuits, and annual subscription is £20.
