British Science Week at libraries

LIBRARIES in the area are celebrating British Science Week 2016 with a variety of free science events and activities.
The 10-day event, from Friday March 11 to Sunday March 20, includes 3D printing, coding, building a robot and advice on careers in the science industry.
British Science Week is a celebration of the best of British science, technology, engineering and maths, featuring fascinating, entertaining and engaging events across the UK.
Events at local libraries include:
3D printing: How does it work? This takes place at Staple Hill Library on Friday March 11 and visitors can drop in anytime from 2-5pm
Super Science Saturday. The drop in session takes place at Downend Library on Saturday March 12 and features vinegar volcanoes, slippery slime and lots more
A hands-on science exhibition by Mangotsfield School which takes place at Emersons Green Library from Friday March 11 to Sunday March 20 during opening hours
