Camera club members focus on the city’s sights

THESE lovely photos were taken by members of Lincombe Barn Camera Club in Downend.
The club, which meets on Wednesday evenings and also has regular outings, is holding its annual exhibition in Downend Library this month – so why not pop along to see more of members’ work?
The club is about to start its new season and would welcome new members. It currently has about 30 members of varying ability.
Spokesman Bruce Gibbs said: “If you are interested in photography, you are most welcome to come along to some of our meetings to see if you like what we do. We are a very friendly club, so don’t be put off if you don’t know much about photography. We will be most pleased to be able to help you.”
The meetings include tutorials, competitions, illustrated talks by outside speakers, informal question and answer evenings and occasional social events.
It is a member of the Western Counties Photographic Federation (WCPF).
