Care home plans to be submitted to council

PLANS for a 60-bed care home off Cleeve Hill are set to be submitted to South Gloucestershire Council.

A presentation was made to parish councillors and ten members of the public in December about the scheme for a site behind 67 Cleeve Hill.

James Taylor from PM Asset Management and Simon Coles of Keep Architects (working on behalf of the Ward family) gave the details to the planning committee of Downend and Bromley Heath Parish Council.

They said that as number 67 is a listed building, the intention was to keep it as a residence and refurbish it.

The rest of the proposed development comprises a 60-bed care home with 27 parking spaces.

Once a formal planning application goes in to the planning authority, the parish council, neighbours and other interested parties will be able to comment before a decision is taken.
