Cleeve Wood ramblers celebrate 21 years
Published on: 05 Nov 2015
CLEEVE Wood Ramblers celebrated 21 years of rambling with a luncheon at Eastwood Park, Falfield.
The celebratory cake was cut by the oldest member, Albert Fisher, and the youngest member, Caroline Harding.
The members meet every Sunday at 10am at the Downend Co-op car park. A number of leaders choose the walks, which vary in length between 5 and 7.5 miles. There is also an Amblers group, who cover shorter distances.
The club has a programme of social events and arranges visits to places of interest, as well as opportunities to join in coach trips travelling further afield.
New members are welcome. For further information ring Joan Jones on 0117 956 9161
