CLIC Sargent shop branches out with bridal gown range
Published on: 02 Jan 2015
CLIC Sargent’s charity shop in Downend is now stocking second-hand wedding dresses.
To celebrate the new range, the shop is holding a display during the last two weeks of January. Shoppers will be able to admire the gowns on display in the store, and are encouraged to come in and browse.
Afterwards, the dresses will be kept in a separate room, which also houses the shop’s well established hat hire service.
Penny Williams, manager of the shop in Downend Road, said: “The wedding dresses are a wonderful addition to the shop. We have some really lovely gowns available at very reasonable prices, and brides will experience the extra joy of knowing their purchase is helping children and young people with cancer.
“Every penny the shop raises helps CLIC Sargent improve the lives of children and young people with cancer by providing vital emotional, financial and practical support to them and their families. I hope people will come in and have a look.”
