Crowds flock to lights switch on in Downend

Published on: 28 Nov 2014

Hundreds of people turned up to see Santa switch on the Christmas lights in Downend this evening.

Everyone joined in the fun as local groups sang, danced and entertained the crowds at the event organised by Downend & Bromley Heath Parish Council. Collections were made for the councils chosen charity this year which is the Bristol branch of the Normandy verterans.
