CHEERLEADING sensations Predators swept the board at a recent competition despite floods nearly preventing them from entering.

The Future Cheer Heart of England competition was due to be held at Worcester University but due to floods teams found it impossible to get there.

Luckily Future Cheer staff swapped venues to the LG Arena in Birmingham with only four days to go.

Predators senior co-ed team Vipers level 4 took first place and became Grand Champions, beating all squads with the highest score.

Bristol-based Predators other teams, Venom and Leopards, came first with Huskies and the little Cubs coming in sixth place.
