DOWNEND’S Jenny Jones is adding a new talent to her increasing list – that of radio presenter.
The snowboarder, who was Team GB’s first medal-winner at the Winter Olympics, has landed a monthly programme about extreme sports on BBC Radio 5 live.
Jenny and co-host Will Perry launched the show on October 23. They interview courageous and charismatic characters and give listeners an insight into what it takes to make it as an extreme sports star.
The show, on the fourth Thursday of the month from 9-10pm, will cover the biggest extreme sports events taking place in the UK and across the world,
Jenny, who won a bronze medal in Sochi, said: “With a personal love of any sport outside of snowboarding that gets the pulse racing, it’s going to be great fun getting under the skin of this adrenalin-fuelled world.”
