Learning more about historic Frenchay village

AN EVENT which forms part of this month's South Gloucestershire's Discover Festival will give people the chance to find out more about the historic village of Frenchay.

Frenchay Village Museum will host a treasure hunt which will include a guide map and take in a leisurely walk around the village.

The event, which is suitable for all ages, will take place on Saturday October 8 from 2pm. 

There is no time limit and people taking part can start at any time during the afternoon.

All entrants will be given a copy of the Grand Tour of Frenchay and there are prizes for completed entries. 

Frenchay Village Museum is situated at the junction of Frenchay Park Road and Begbrook Park at the former entrance to Frenchay Hospital.
