Mark gives drama group some tips

Published on: 30 Jun 2015

LOOK who’s popped in on drama group the Actonians. It’s none other than Shackleton actor Mark McGann.
Actonians secretary Sarah McMahon said: “The Actonians were lucky enough to enjoy a very informative full day’s workshop with the well known actor Mark McGann.
“He shared his experience and expertise on how to direct a play and what the pit-falls could be. We were all exhausted, but enthused by the end of the day and gained much insight into how we could improve as directors.”
This was the group’s second workshop, having already held a very successful session on acting skills in March with local actor Mark Danbury.
“As a group we are investing in developing the skills of our members and will be having a second workshop with Mark Danbury in September,” Sarah said.
“We would welcome anyone who might be interested in joining our wonderful group to contact us.”
