Never too young (or too old) to eat cake for Macmillan

CHILDREN, families and staff from Abacus Pre-School in Mangotsfield joined with their local church to raise money for cancer support charity Macmillan.
They held a coffee morning with elders from Mangotsfield and Castle Green United Reformed Church, raising more than £200.
Dawne Knight, pre-school manager, said: "Parents kindly donated a selection of cakes and money for the children to choose a yummy cake to enjoy.
"It was lovely to see a couple of parents come along to join in with a fantastic turn out of church elders helping support this very worthy event. Along with the cake sale a raffle was held and with everyone's generosity and support a grand total of £216.43 was raised for Macmillan."
The event was part of Macmillan's annual World's Biggest Coffee Morning.
