THANKS to these ladies thousands of pounds have been raised in memory of soldiers who gave their lives during conflict.
The women, from Staple Hill Royal British Legion, have been selling poppies at Sainsbury's Emersons Green for several years and are always welcomed by customers and store staff.
This year their efforts over 10 days saw them raise £15,133.
Pictured second on the left is Margaret Bracey, from Coalpit Heath, who has been raising money for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal since November 1945. She has held many official posts within the Legion and has received royal recognition of her work.
