Powell hopes for third time lucky at Mangos

MANGOTSFIELD United players have returned to training and are getting set for their first pre-season friendly, at home to Bristol Rovers.
A former Rovers player, Lewis Hogg, has beome the team’s assistant manager after Steve Elliott had to stand down because of work commitments.
Several new signings have joined the club over the close season; among them are defender Tom Warren from Yate Town and defensive midfielder Kyle Knott, from Cinderford Town.
Also arriving from Cinderford is striker George Lloyd, while Kerry Morgan comes from Port Talbot to add to the upfront line-up.
Two players are coming to the Mangos from Taunton Town: midfielder Dale Evans and striker Lewis Powell, who was the league’s second highest scorer last season. Powell is now in his third spell at Cossham Street.
Molly Dursley is the club’s new physio and she will be assisted on match days by Kieran Moden.
The Rovers clash is on Friday July 8, kicking off at 7.30pm. Admission is £5 and £3 concessions with all U16’s having free entry.
On the social club side, the new bar manager is Shaun Mullen.
