At the annual awards evening, Lewis Powell was named Players’ Player of the Season, Liam Monelle Supporters’ Player of the Season and Tom Warren Manager’s Player of the Season.
Having completed his end-of-season meetings with the players, manager Dave Mehew released Scott Brice, Dale Evans and Lewis Powell. The rest of the squad members have all been offered a new deal for the coming season, or an invitation to attend Pre-season training to earn a new deal.
Pre-season training commences on Friday June 30 and a number of pre-season friendlies have already been agreed, most of them away because of much-needed maintenance work on the Cossham Street pitch.
The only home fixture is on Wednesday July 12 when the Field will entertain Bristol Rovers, kick off 7.45pm.
Friday July 7: Brimscombe and Thrupp 7.45pm
Sat July 15: Ashton & Backwell 3pm

Finally, the club’s lead physio Molly Dursley has just passed her exams after five years of studying and work experience and has been accepted into the prestigious Football Medical Association Register.
