Scouts complete Ten Tors challenge

Published on: 23 Jun 2017

SCOUTS from Downend completed the toughest Ten Tors challenge - 55 miles across Dartmoor.

They were part of the Kingswood Explorer Scouts Ten Tors group, which this year entered three teams for the 35-mile challenge, two teams for 45 miles and one team for 55 miles.

Explorer Scouts are aged 14 to 19 and they are among many groups from youth organisations and schools who enter up to 400 teams in the annual challenge, organised by the Army.
