Sixth-formers' hard work is rewarded

MORE than 100 students from Winterbourne International Academy students are off to university after achieving excellent A-level results.More than half of grades in 2017 were A*-B and 26 per cent A*-A.

The following students all achieved three or more A*/A grades:  Ben Chandler 4A*,  Oliver Green 3A* 1A, Isobel Wilkins 3A*, Jennifer Babb 2A* 1A,  Avin Litt 2A* 1A, Emily Wilkins 2A* 1A,  James Concannon 2A* 1A 1B,  Sarah Bradbury 1A* 2A , Jo Rees 1A* 2A, Thomas Edgecumbe 3A 1B , Robert Porteous 3A , Maya Prowse-Hall 3A ,  Alex Stenner 3A.

Two students have been accepted to Oxbridge. Isobel Wilkins will be going to Cambrige to study Modern and Medieval Languages and Emily Wilkins will be going to Oxford to study Geography.

Director of Sixth Form, Danielle Jolosa said: “Words cannot describe how proud we are of all our students and the grades they have achieved. Their hard work and determination has certainly paid off and I wish them all the best as they embark on their next chapter.”
