Viaduct works traffic measures to be unveiled

Residents will be able to find out this weekend about the traffic measures proposed while work is carried out on the Bromley Heath Viaduct.
Meetings are taking place throughout June to outline the plans to mitigate the impact on local people of the work, which will mean traffic on the A4174 Avon Ring Road being reduced from four lanes to two.
Work will start in July. A decision on whether extra money will be available to reduce the timescale from 52 weeks to 33 has been delayed by the general election.
A recommendation to provide the cash will go to the West of England Local Enterprise Partnership on June 28.
