TEENAGER Victoria Payne is making an impact in the world of trial bike riding.
Victoria, 18, a member of Great Britain Youth Squad, is now ranked seventh in the UK.
She rides for the Malcolm Rathmell Sport team and competes in races across the country and Europe. In 2014, she won the British Championship youth class.
Victoria began riding at the age of six when her father bought her first bike. She devotes more than ten hours a week to practising and training in the gym.
Victoria is a post-16 student at King’s Oak Academy in Kingswood. Her tutor Thomas Taylor said: “Staff and students at King’s Oak are immensely proud of Victoria’s achievements and wish her continued success with her Trial bike riding career.”
Victoria said: “I think it’s brilliant to be seventh in the UK. I have trained and worked hard for this. I would like to thank my family and my sponsors for their endless support and encouragement.”
