What would you call our park cafe?

PEOPLE living in and around Staple Hill are being asked to name a new community building which is hoped will become the hub of the area.
The building, which will feature a function room and cafe with indoor and outdoor dining areas, will be built in the sensory garden at Page Park.
It's been made possible thanks to a whopping £1.6 million lottery grant which the Friends of Page Park secured earlier this year following years of work.
Now, the recently formed Page Park Community Trust, which has just been granted charitable status, is hoping for park users to come forward with suggestions for a name for the building.
Steph Purser, trustee and vice-chair of the Friends, said: "As this project has always been community led, we want the community to get involved and help us name the building.
"The name needs to roll off the tongue and be something that people associate or link with Page Park. We're hoping the building will be the hub of the community so it's important the name is right."
Prizes will be up for grabs including a VIP ticket to the opening event which it is hoped will  take place next June to coincide with 2017's Big Lunch, an annual event in Page Park.
The community room, which will fit up to 30 people, will be available for hire by the community for functions like children's parties, exercise classes and meetings.
There will also be a new accessible toilet outside for public use and two in the cafe for customers.
The trust, which will manage the building, will soon be looking for someone to run the cafe on a franchise basis.
"We're hoping to get someone in place just after Christmas. We are looking for someone who is community minded. They need to know what our community wants. We also would like them to source local healthy food as far as possible."
Steph said the building has been based on what the community has asked for during numerous consultation exercises.
"During all our consultations when we have asked people what they want in the park, they have responded by saying they would like a cafe where they can buy refreshments and new toilets. Everyone has asked for those and now, thanks to funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund, that's what we can give the community."
Entries to the competition (with contact details) can be handed in to Staple Hill Library, posted on the Friends' Facebook Page or sent via www.friendsofpagepark.co.uk. The closing date is October 31.
