Breakfast smiles

SNAP giggle and pop! Children from Christ Church Junior School in Downend enjoyed a fun start to the day that had a serious message.
The children who attend a regular early morning ‘dance fit’ class poured cereal over their  teacher Karen Davis to help raise awareness of Britain’s Biggest Breakfast for Cancer Research UK.
Supporters were being asked to host or attend a breakfast during March  and invite their friends and family to make a donation to attend.
Karen said: “I’m really proud of all the pupils. They are a great class and a real credit to the school.”
Alison Birkett, Cancer Research UK spokeswoman for Bristol, said: “We’d like to thank the ‘dance fit’ pupils from Christ Church Junior School for supporting Britain’s Biggest Breakfast.”
Cancer Research UK receives no Government funding for its research but with help from the people of Bristol the charity is fighting the disease on all fronts.
