Chocolate for breakfast?
WHY can’t we have chocolate for breakfast? That’s the topic that has been occupying reception class children at Christ Church Infant School in Downend.
The 75 four and five-year-olds, who have enjoyed Roald Dahl’s classic story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, took their learning outside and created a chocolate river from tyres, wooden planks and milk crates.
Co headteacher Anna Martin said the children had worked collaboratively and with great precision.
“It was great to see the children so animated and engaged with their learning, sharing ideas and delighting in their own creations,” she said.
