Stabbing: arrested man was not a resident
A MAN arrested after a stabbing did n0t live at Downend House, it has been stressed.
Police were called and an area outside the house was cordoned off in the early hours of October 4 after the incident, in which another man was stabbed in the neck and arm, and needed hospital treatment.
A man arrested an hour later was taken into police custody and the Avon and Somerset force has asked anyone with information to call them on 101 and quote the crime reference 5219 229 340.
Milestones Trust CEO John Hoskinson said: "I can confirm that this was an isolated event and no tenants at the property were perpetrators of the incident.
"The safety of our tenants is always our first priority and we have fully supported them in the aftermath of the event.
"We continue to fully cooperate with the police in their ongoing investigation.”
